It is a game that is simple to learn and perfect for groups of 4 to 10 players. The answer cards have two sides — one light blue and the other white. Determine which color everyone should use when turning in their answers. Then deal out seven cards to each player face-down. According to the rules, the most talkative player goes first. The first player throws the 6-sided die and announces the category they rolled.
Each player, except the reader, goes through the cards in their hand and reads the corresponding phrase that matches the category rolled. Players each select one card and hand it face-down to the reader. If playing with just four people, everyone will select two cards to give to the reader.
They then proceed to read the corresponding phrase from each card that matches the die roll. And here is where the laughter comes in! Once the judge reads all of the cards, they will choose one answer as the truest about themself and give the person who submitted it a true scoring token. That player rolls first. Play then passes to the left.
Here's all the info you need to get you playing. For a more detailed explanation of gameplay, see "Detailed Rufes" below. Each player except the reader selects a card from his or her hand and gives it to the reader.
For a 4-player game, each player selects 2 cards. The reader selects the card that is the most true about the reader and gives a TRUE scoring token to the person who admits to submitting it. The reader then selects the card that is the most funny about the reader and gives a FUNNY scoring token to the person who admits to submitting it.
During the game, each person takes turns being the one all the other players are talking about. However, it has been found to get a bit repetitive once played and so, there is not a lot of longevity in the game when it comes to playing it.
A party game that is ideal for a large group of people to play for a short amount of time. The rules of the game are easy to pick up and with a low skill and complexity level, it is purely designed for fun and laughter.
