Norton 360 anti spam windows live mail

Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Did that to no avail. Norton support indicated that a patch will be coming soon that will fix the problem. I wonder if my server-side anti-spam [I assume they use something] is marking it in such a manner. Anyway, with no anti-spam at all currently on my machine, Outlook still is sending nothing to the Junk E-mail folder.

My Norton antispam plugin worked fine with outlook but does not work with outlook Norton or MS? Thanks, Bruce. Is it not the same as with NIS ? That it does not put any spam buttons on the toolbar but it still scans email, will mark them Norton AntiSpam and if you write a message rule -- dead easy; it's on the Folders group of the toolbar of WLM -- it will put all messages marked Norton AntiSpam into the Junk Folder that already exists or if you create a Spam or Norton Spam folder into that oen It's a shame that the program doesn't coorporate with these popular email clients.

The protection by email threats is a serious reason to install an antivirus software. Does anybody knows if there is any possibility for symantec to try to fix that problem? As I said already, in my experience it cooperates fine: it flags spam and sorts it into the junk folder after I set the rule to do that.

I can cancel the Norton AntiSpam flag on a message or set one manually but not with a toolbar button and that it does not remove the Norton AntiSpam flag is not new to WLM. That's my understanding since something is putting up popops from time to time or deleting malware attachments to email -- my wife got the Postal Express Trojan the other day So, it scans the mesages without any settings by me? It is just "silent" and I can't see it working?

If so it's OK. I just installed the new version of , under windows 7 ultimate bit. I am using this program for years and I am very satisfied, except the point that it is not working with windows live mail. As I can see, this problem still remains in the new version. There is no sign that 5. Also, in the Anti Spam settings, under the client integration settings there is only Outlook and Outlook express, which are not available to use I don't have installed outlook.

Same here too. It doesnot option for Windows Live Mail at all. The options for Outlook Express and Outlook are also greyed. My System Software Configuration is as follows:. System updated with all the latest Updates from Microsoft.

They are going to come up with Service Pack for Windows 7. At the time there's no info about future support. If you have Norton and an email program on your computer like Outlook, then you might not even be aware that Norton is protecting your account. However, Norton has inbuilt protection for these types of programs that allows it to automatically protect you from known dangers.

It also has tools that you can manually configure if the automatic tools are unable to filter out a specific address. To learn how to block an email address using the Blocked Senders list in Norton , read the procedure below.

Begin by double-clicking the Norton icon in the system tray at the bottom-right corner of your computer screen. Click the blue Configure link at the right side of the window, next to Blocked List.
