Perfect world good game

Lastly, quest rewards provide no incentive to keep playing. Maybe Perfect World was great three years ago. But it has aged, and fallen far from its original standing. Its reigning feature is the character creation system that allows for some of the best character designs I have seen in an MMO. Rarely do you find a game that allows for Frankenstein concoctions.

But beyond that, the game is a clunky mess. It feels dated, a relic from some bygone age that should only be appreciated at a distance. System Requirements. Additional Info. Perfect World was first released in China in July and developed by China-based online game company Perfect World. It wasn't until September 2, that primarily English-speaking countries were able to play.

Unless it's changed, it's totally pay to win now. And pay HUGE! You CAN get the stuff free, but it takes a great many hours farming to do it. It's not impossible to work your way up without cashing. You do need spend tons of hours and have multiple characters. The expensive part would be acquiring the gears to pvp properly since the community is very challenging.

But if you rather play pve, with enough effort you can do just fine. I don't even know where to begin with this game I run a gaming channel.

I'll simply post a video about it to anyone reading this. Here we go! If you hate action combat or fluent combat in general, this game is for you!

Other than pay to win, grinding is boring.. Best part of playing this game after hitting level and forgetting about trying to get to , was the chat feature, where you had a variety of smiles. My favorite was the tiger smiley. Much more can be said but ill surmise it. Items can be purchased to prevent that. Also safety lock that locks your inventory so you dont drop anything, but you cant sell trade etc Territory War is basically competing for land on the map as a faction and fighting against other faction for dominance.

Nation War is just a PvP fest. Basically where you battle to capture a fixed amount of locations on the map that generate points, first to wins the map.

Rewards for overall performance is good, but killed the economy of the game technically. Those really the main nitpicks about the game even tho their are many others.

Watch a few videos to see the actual combat, and general feel about the game, because game play trailers are deceptive normally but this one, is extremely deceptive. I hope you make the right decision.

Been playing this game for 6 years. They've made it so complicated now, the servers i'm stuck on Morai server are so laggy, and your disconnected so often its stupid. So many people quit the game a few years ago, then came back they really hate it now. So many glitches never get fixed. They even had a server shutdown during a multiserver War.

So one server couldn't even get online. This game sucks, it's not really playable because your lagging all the time, or worse being disconnected from the server many times a month. It's just garbage. So many friends and so many things to explore.

But this is just nostalgia. The game in the vanilla state was awesome. It was fun. Genie update was the start of bad days. New systems, daily quests not collecting 5 gems, new one with boss killing , people stopped doing world quests.

Next updates made levelling faster, but basic economics was ruined. PW always had problems with economics. You always had literally empty pockets. Quests gave you and give a tiny bit of money. Professions were too expensive and they were profitable only on high levels except apothecary.

You always wanted new gear, equipment repair and etc. Mounts were expensive as hell. Good mounts cost you a real money, like flying mounts, and you always struggled with low movement speed.

More updates -- more money wasting. Genies want to eat, feed them, Learn skills, and etc. The game was P2W from the early start when the shop was added. But with every patch, every addon, PW became more P2W, more grindy and less interesting. Do not play the game if you have no nostalgia feelings.

If you want to experience PW -- go find a classic server with the first expansion, or better without it. But I've always been loyal to my memories. When PW was an interesting adventure when the world was fulfilled with new players, who didn't know where to go and who to kill. Everybody was asking for help and everyone helped!

It was the golden age same was in WOW Vanilla when people were so poor so they group up and trying to be better together -- they were questing, they tried to find the guide in a new dungeon. This game is like a hamster wheel, taking years, doing the same quests over and over to raise the levels of all your skills, boundaries and equipment.

The alternative is to sink thousands upon thousands of dollars into the game to buy the more elite gear and items to level more quickly.

It is no surprise that items to allow individuals to automatically level their character are made available at a very high cost. It has a very elitist culture. With PWE constantly removing the ability for individuals to be able to get squads, due to inferior equipment, they make it more difficult for struggling players by removing items from being able to be earned from a solo endeavour making it very difficult to progress in this game.

Other players constantly ask that you show your weapon before granting you an invitation to a squad. Items that were previously able to be earned through tasks in game are removed and put into the cash shop on a regular basis. This can make it difficult or more likely impossible to be able to improve your gear or abilities without paying real world money, when coming late to the game, due to established players having been able to acquire it more easily.

PvP has become incredibly unbalanced, with characters that are over powered able to take out characters that were originally designed as tanks in game with a single blow. The company has been mismanaging its games for many years now.

This has been reflected in the great many lay offs of employees in the company, the rapid decline in its share prices and the closing of many of its divisions. Servers have been merged many times over the years, with only one quarter of the servers remaining now, due to only having one eighth of the population they once had. It is estimated that many of the games that PWE support won't last more than 2 to 3 years, so investing time or money in their games would be a complete waste.

I more than anyone would love to see someone come on board with the courage to do what is necessary to turn this game around. I had many family and friends that used to play this game, that have all quit and never anticipate returning. Don't be mislead by individuals that lie and tell you that elite gear can be easily obtained for free, they have an ulterior motive.

The population of this game is dying at an incredible rate and those that have spent countless hours and thousands of dollars will do anything to keep it alive, even trying to encourage others to join by feeding them lies about how simple it is to not spend money and achieve high level gear and abilities. Unless your idea of a great weekend is being constantly one shot by these individuals, I would highly advise trying another game.

Unfortunately greed and selfishness dominate this game. Other games that won't have your bank manager calling you in a hysteric and allow you to compete on a more even playing field more quickly would be "Tera" or "Elder Scrolls Online".

The game itself has a great premise, or did have. The language allowed in the game will scare a biker, subjecting children to this may be against the law as they are aware of the language. The game offers items for sale but there's a catch to many of them.

It's similar to gambling, you might get what you think, however you'll get, for the most part. Yes the game is free to play, however that may only last a few days when the realization sneeks up on you that you must spend money to continue to play the game. Extreme sexual connotations are everywhere, from clothing, actions and language. I would recommend this game if the management would clean up its act, it is a Chinese oriented game. Vulpine Untamed Damage Debuff The Vulpines can shift between both human and bestial forms much akin to the Barbarian, and alike the Barbarian, each of these forms offer different advantages and abilities. Additionally, Vulpines can tame powerful and exotic pets for use in battle.
