Microsoft needs to fix what they have. You are entering the wrong inbound and outbound settings for bellsouth mail. All we need to do is get the right settings in but you have also changed the way it's entered by not allowing for the port. You don't bother to tell people what the syntax is for specifying the port. I spent hours trying to get the mail working. It finally did but it wasn't because of Microsoft.
In fact Microsoft was a hindrance especially when they altered my outbound settings after I entered the one I needed. The replies that come from most of the Microsoft Engineers ever help. If you are using BellSouth, why are you on imap and not pop. Trying to setup my bellsouth. Keeps telling me to update my email password which is correct.
