I had the pleasure of reviewing Farming Simulator , but this was no ordinary Farming Simulator …oh no, this was Farming Simulator Platinum Edition. So lets start from the start: Installation. You know when you are driving along a country road stuck behind a tractor doing mph on a 60mph.
Yeah the irony! I had to run the installer again to add the platinum content. Perhaps it was a mistake to install the extra Platinum content right away. I fear now that I will never know how much it brought to the game since I never played it non-platinum. We learn from our mistakes. So into the game I go, and… Oh my, that music! The jazz band, I can almost smell the cigar smoke and see through the haze to the brunette in the red dress on stage swaying her hips.
I could stay on the title screen all day. I delved into Career Mode. I was running around until I found a tractor and my first instinct was to put it in the middle of the road to block oncoming traffic, what really freaked me out was when a car did come up and there was no one in it….
In addition to new vehicles, buildings and equipment, the Platinum version adapts to the many problems of our time with a lot of room left to renewable energy. Next to the popular base game which allows you to experience the real life of a farmer with multiple-player mode, husbandry and detailed vehicles, you will find the below mentioned new platinum contents.
Also included is the following brand-new platinum-feature: Players are now able to generate and sell their own energy with a biogas, a wind and a solar energy plant. Few simulators on the market are offering such an amount of content in one box! And if this is still not enough for you, you can choose from a multitude of modifications and download them from the web easily.
Release name : Farming. Comments Damn thanks for the spoiler alert now I know that I can park and possibly drive a super cool green tractor around a cul-de-sac. For some reason, my DL came without an nfo!?! Now, even when I use the crack it still asks me for the key and I have no idea what to do. Since there are 6 different save games you can save your career under, open the one that corresponds to your career ex: savegame1.
Once that is open you will see a file titled careerSavegame, right click on it and go to "open with" and select notepad. At this point notepad will be open and you will see what looks like a bunch of garbled crap. Change the numbers to whatever amount of money you want. Save, close the file and go play the game, and your money will be there.
